I wasn’t going to post about the whole rapture kerfuffle, because it’s not something I’m particularly worried about.
I heard that the ministry in question spent millions (millions!) of dollars on billboards advertising the date of the rapture. Millions!
The lesson to be learned from this is clear: spend your time and efforts doing real things to help people. Don’t focus on an “easy out.” There is no easy solution. There is no easy enlightenment. Oneness with God requires effort.
On the other hand, that’s millions of dollars that went back into the economy. Here’s to looking for the positive!
